#2: Road to Bethlehem

You will need to print up a set of our Christmas Story printable verses. One set will be enough for all of the different ornaments.
Step 1 Print your Christmas Story Printables up on paper, and cut out.
Step 2 Glue your clothespins together upside down, as show in the photo.
Step 3 Use paint or marker to color your donkey brown.
Step 4 Leave the feet uncolored for hooves.
Step 5 Punch two holes in the top of your Christmas Story.
Step 6 Glue your wiggle eyes to the front of the donkey. Wrap your string around the front of his nose and tie in the back.
All Done! Hang your Christmas donkey up on your tree!

Step 7 String your Christmas story on the ends of the string.
Step 8 Pull the strings back to the front and cross them. Bring them back to the back of the donkey to tie a knot.
Step 9 This is what the back of the donkey will end up looking like.
Step 10 Use your remaining string to make a loop to hang the donkey on the tree.
Step 11 Turn your donkey over and put some glue on the sides of your story. (ignore the holes I've got punched in there, I was trying something different :)
Step 12 Press the sides of the paper down to the side of the donkey, so that it looks like a burlap sack.
Our Second Christmas story ornament is a donkey with the story of Joseph and Mary's journey to Bethlehem.
